The accepted solutions feature helps communities identify content that solves users’ problems and makes interesting material more prominent and easy to access. Community members who post questions or moderators can designate one of the replies as an accepted solution.
Once a solution is accepted, the original message is marked as solved and the reply is marked as a solution. An icon on the question takes users directly to the solution. If authors or moderators see an even better solution, they can revoke the first choice and designate another message as the solution. And users who post the answers to their own questions can mark those answers as accepted.
Accepted Solutions is a great way to highlight useful content and elevate these answers in search results. |

I've been confused trying to get help from the FAQ section. I just got my FUZE on Saturday, and have loaded my entire CD library andl love it. But if it's not connected to the computer it won't turn on. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks, bookmaam

Wrong forums you should have posted this in Cruzers with U3 however the reason why you get this problem is because your drive is pre formatted in FAT 32 which has a file size limitation of 4gb for 1 file, to overcome this you need to format the drive into NTFS STEP 1 - Optimize the flash drive for performance 1. Plug in the device to the PC. 2. Double-click My Computer. 3. Right-click on the flash drive, then select Properties. 4. Click the Hardware tab. 5. Select the SanDisk Cruzer USB Device disk drive, then click Properties. 6. Click the Policies tab. 7. Select Optimize for performance, then click OK.
STEP 2 - Format the flash drive 1. Double-click My Computer. 2. Right-click on the flash drive, then select Format. 3. In the File system list, click NTFS. 4. Click Start. 5. Click OK to start formatting. WARNING: - Remember to backup your data. Formatting will delete all the data in your device. - Formatting the device as NTFS will make it unable to be written to on a MAC computer. Most MAC computers can read NTFS, but not write. - NTFS is a journaled filesystem, this creates more read/write activities. Therefore, it will decrease life expectancy of your device. - Once the device is formatted as NTFS, you MUST use "Safely Remove Hardware".
