have a Sandisk Cruzer Micro 4gb w/RB.. using on Dell Vista Home Premium 1gb Ram laptop.. when I insert this Flash drive into USB port.. Ready Boost window does not show up anymore.. had been working fine up until about 3 weeks ago... seems.. when I go to the Ready Boost folder and click on it I get Error Message.. 'Windows cannot open type readyboostsfcache file'.. it used to do it.. don't know what happened .is there any way to fix the problem

I have the same problem, worked before vista Service Pack 1 installed, but now it says the drive doesn't have the required performance. I have the same 4GB Cruzer Micro. fuzzy_logic wrote: I assume you have disabled ReadyBoost and then gone back in to re-enable it? What happens when you try to do that?

Are you referring to opening the cache file on your ready boost drive? Once you enable readyboost for the drive you don't have to do anything else. Any time the drive is then inserted it will automatically start using readyboost. Nothing further by the user is required.

Please see picture below, Windows refuses to accept that the device is compatible with Ready Boost. It did work, but now it doesn't. I bought this device because it was Ready Boost compatible. Any Ideas??
